The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 41st annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run on July 4, 2022!
Event Details
The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 41st annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run - Your choice of a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point. Registration begins at 7:00am and the race begins at 8:00am SHARP. Walkers welcome, too!
This course is extremely hilly! Water will be available at the 2 and 4 mile marks and a hose will be available at the finish line. Restrooms are available at the park and the swimming pool will be open after the conclusion of the event. Shirts are included in the registration fee.
The award ceremony will follow the race. First place finishers in each division receive a commemorative mug from Brewery Pottery; second place finishers receive a medal. Ribbons will be available for all participants age of 12 & under.
In Focus Timing will be used again this year.
Online ticket sales end June 13, 2022. $30 adult/$20 child 12 & under.
Day of event entry fee: $35 adults/ $25 children 12 & under.
